Salaf Al-Saleh Islamic Centre

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.

Salaf Al-Saleh Islamic Centre, located in Tamale, Northern Region of Ghana. Founded in 1423 AH (2002 AD), our Centre is devoted to spreading Islamic education, memorization of the Holy Qur’an, da’wah (calling to Allah Almighty), and meeting the needs of our local community. Through the guidance of Allah, our passionate team of scholars and teachers work tirelessly to instill the pure creed of the righteous predecessors in future generations. At Salaf Al-Saleh Islamic Centre, we believe in the power of education, compassion, and unity to build a peaceful and knowledgeable society. What We Do

Quranic Education

We teach the Book of Allah to 350 students daily, with special memorization programs in the evenings and for parents at night. 

Community Service

From sponsoring orphans to providing Ramadan baskets and healthcare for the poor, we serve those in need throughout Northern Ghana.

Da'wah Activities

Our preachers conduct regular advocacy trips to neighboring villages, calling people to Islam with wisdom and good advice.

Serving Communities Through Islamic Education and Charity

Quranic Studies

Teaching the Holy Quran with proper tajweed and memorization techniques, nurturing a deep understanding of Islamic principles among all students of all ages.

Mosque Construction

Salaf Al-Saleh Islamic Centre builds and restores mosques to provide essential spaces for worship, learning, and community support. Each project includes vital facilities like wells, lighting, and sanitation to serve Muslim communities effectively.

Helping the Poor

We support the poor through food distribution, healthcare, education assistance, and relief projects to uplift vulnerable families.

Our Recent Achievements

We have built and renovated mosques, drilled wells, sponsored orphans, distributed food and clothing, and organized advocacy trips and educational programmes across the region

Orphan Sponsorship

15 orphans currently under our care, with clothing provided for 550 needy people during Eids

Sacrificial Meat Distribution

21 cows and 70 sheep slaughtered and distributed to the poor over the past three years

Build & Restored Mosques

3 new mosques constructed and 2 restored with complete facilities including wells, lights and toilets

Da'wah Trips

27 advocacy trips conducted to neighboring villages with many embracing Islam
